Take a good look at your headshot, your Facebook profile pic, or online dating profile pic with fresh eyes.
What signal does it send?
If you are a business owner, especially a service-based ‘solo-preneur,’ a great headshot is worth a lot! How much is it worth to your business? I believe it’s worth at least $2000 to have the right photographs for your business because people make quick judgments about who you are and whether you can help them — just from your photo.
When you think about it, it’s a little scary that people can reject you before they get to know you just because of a photo — whether you want to put your best foot forward in your professional or personal life.
That is why I decided to reshoot my business shots last week with my good friend Don Hajicek, who is brilliant in bringing out the “real you” on camera.
I thought it would be fun to give you a little look “behind the scenes” at what happened on the day of the shoot and give you the 3 best tips that Don gave me that will have your photographs actually attract the attention you want.
Watch the short video here.
Don travels with Datta and I to most of the Art of Feminine Presence events. He’ll be in Calgary this week with us and in Melbourne, Australia in December. You can book a session with him below if you are going to be at one of those events, OR if you want to simply schedule your own photoshoot at a time that suits you, I highly recommend it.

For everyone else
I’m looking forward to seeing many of you on our travels over the next couple of months.
Much love,
I cannot recommend working Don enough. Rachael Jayne, these are the most beautiful photos!!!! Brought me to tears.
Ahh thank you Sally! I agree – Don is amazing! 🙂
I am in awe!!
Thank you Nele!
I loved your message and I had to laugh as I just got home from my bi-monthly networking meeting and the VERY last person I spoke with was a photographer in the network and I told him I wanted to do a shoot to upgrade my photos. So both timely information and glad to know I am dialed into the collective.
Thanks Rachael Jayne. You are already changing our lives. My wife Ashana is in your BLM course and we have shifted so much since Phoenix it truly is amazing.
Blessings to you and Datta as you spread hope and empowerment across the globe.
Thank you James. I’m glad you are gaining so much from BLM and these blogs. Cheers.

Great photo’s and advice Rachel Jayne. Love the new look.
I did a photo shoot with Don in the Nederlands in the Summer. It was good fun and I love the results.
Don has cured my fear of the camera.
Isn’t he wonderful!? I’m glad you had the opportunity to work with him this summer!
Hi there Rachael,
Excited to see you’re coming to Australia and the photo sessions are a fabulous idea. I’m a fan of yours and have done some Feminine Presence training with one of your lovely students, Rosie Hurst.
You’ll need a hair and makeup artist for the photo shoots, and I would be there perfect person! As you’ll see from my website, I’ve had many years experience working with media and making women look and feel beautiful. Would love the opportunity to work with you.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Warmest,
Petrina
