I’m seeing a trend.
Every day on Facebook I see at least one life coach, business coach or well-meaning person preach something like, “you’ve got to stop pushing and hustling and go for ease, grace, and flow.”
I want to share an important missing part of this trendy mantra that has to be in place if you are going to create your wildest dreams and truly live in ease, grace, and flow.
If you are not sure when to really GO FOR IT and take massive action or when you should LET GO, SURRENDER, and just let Grace take you somewhere— this is an important conversation for you to be part of this week.
I’d love for you to watch this episode of Awaken TV and then leave a comment under the video of what you believe and what has worked for you.
Watch it here.
Much love,
Rachael Jayne
Love this thank you. I understand better what I can do and what I shouldn’t do based on my energy. Its no wonder my Nutrition Counseling business that I’ve been wanting to create has gone nowhere, I’ve been on the train at the bottom of the hill and been there for quite some time, years in fact. Time to get out of my own muck and rise to the challenge.
Thank you
im like that video
Rachael thanks for the gentle push.
How easily we slip in to habit
Hi Rachael Jayne,
Yes, I completely agree, your state of being and presence is the key that creates the ease, flow and powerful manifestation. I’d like to mention that clarity of intention and follow through is also important. The train needs to know the direction to go and we need to move (follow through) with the train. When we do, its a fantastic thrilling ride. Whoo hoo! Much love to you and thank you for your inspiration.
Excellent analogy-can really recognise the message and will go on with this in mind …
Thanks Rachel Jayne ,
Much love,
Christine
Dear Rachael Jayne,
Having given my precious time to view and listen to you close to 12 minutes speaking all this wonderful wisdom or as you referred to it your two cents, I am compelled to offer you another perspective.
You are a beautiful young woman to look at, so I didn’t mind hearing your “TWO CENTS” .
You project quite well, albeit you comes across to me as assuming that the people who listen to you are totally lost, have no clue. You have not an ounce of humility.
Has it ever occurred to you that you may be ‘preaching to the converted’, who are precisely where they need to be and feel that perhaps you may need them and actually do.
Blessing to you from a friendly soul on a similar yet her own journey.

Sometimes people (like me) need reminding and Rachael’s analogy offers clarity.
We all need each other in this world.
Thank you Rachael Jayne finding the happy medium of just turning up the dial and taking action that is neither “All” or “Nothing” is certainly an art form I am thoroughly enjoying to learn more about.
Mostly having the experience of the Tom Bird writing and feeling that divine connection helped me realise there is a magic that I am not tapping into when I’m not taking action that is also connected. It’s a wonderful “indulgent” type feeling and I look forward to immersing myself in the practice of it!
You talked about this on Monday. I love the concept and can see its truth. An additional piece for me is letting go of what is holding me back, my fears, my version of how it should happen, literally saying I don’t know how this is going to happen and I don’t need to know how it is going to happen. My job is to stay in gratitude and joy and allow the universe to go about its business while I go about mine doing the legwork as best as I can. This morning I had a long, frustrating conversation with my website host. I am now going to stop, rest, and meditate to pull my energy back up. I’ve been practicing moving low energy into desire energy and it has been helping. I can see a cycle now with this extra piece. Thanks.
I appreciate your ability to speak to what’s out there about surrendering etc, and to offer not an alternative but a deeper journeying with each unique individuals experience. My questions are around being in a place of beauty and peacefulness and work where I feel half fulfilled, and yet questioning how to choose more for myself, not just accept still what others say is wonderful.
My realised experience is still a desire for something more, yet not sure what that is, and not always going with others flow, or the place where I live and works flow?
This was great to hear and to realize its ok to give myself permission to back off when I am on the resistance train so I can do my work to get on the joy train. Sometimes I feel like I need to push through anything and everything and if I don’t I am giving in. Thank you for sharing!
Yes, agreed. Great points. Thanks — just the reminder I needed right now 🙂
I have been on the resistance train regarding work a few years now but still fear retiring. That is the change I need to pursue my fulfilled life.
I wish I could know when to jump onto the change train. Been asking for guidance from the divine, and angels.
Dear Josephine, it sounds like you already know WHEN to jump onto the change train (i.e., NOW). It’s unclear from your post, but hopefully you are taking some material-world type actions towards making retiring a reality (such as reviewing your finances/talking to a financial planner, etc). The spiritual-world type actions such as asking for guidance is great, but even better to get the best of both worlds, right? (There was something about your post where I felt compelled to respond, perhaps because of my own retirement story. I’m celebrating the pursuit of your fulfilled life — we all benefit when you do that!)
Thank you Rachael Jane for being that balancing voice!
I think we’ve seeing the pendulum swinging from one side to the other. The masculine “push – no matter what, just get it done” and the feminine “grace & ease” DO work together. That’s how it’s always been…we need both energies, and especially each in their own time.
Great message! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I love this Analogy! Thank you for sharing Rachel Jayne!!
it makes sense that when you are in a low energy state and try to do things (push harder) it doesn’t work and also drains all your energy.
Any other suggestions how to change your state and to be in more energy alignment?
Thanks a lot gives me perspective to stop pushing when I’m exhausted and running on an empty tank, but to fuel up with rest , oh heaven forbid I came from a work addicted family !!!! Rest what’s that!!!!!!! lol and if I do rest then I’m lazy hmmmm good concepts !!! Gives me permission to fill my tank up with energy through what my body (not my machine) is asking for to take the next train forward ! Food , rest , connection , sleep , nature etc etc !! Thnks that was awesome !!!! And congrats on your new home sounds beautiful !!!! Like mine in my future when I raise my vibration !!! ❤️
I hear this. I have a quote in my meditation area that has been helping me shift this, it’s from Oprah. She says, “ You cannot give what you do not have. Your *job* is to fill yourself up!” Raising energetic state and presence is an amazing take on this. Truly foundational!
How do you maintain being on a high energy daily? Is it possible to stay in that state or do you experience highs and lows, too.
Arbonne saved me. It has given me the opportunity to help others but first you must find peace and love within and you must truly want this life and know how to navigate through all the noise in today’s world.
What she alluded to in the video is that it is normal to find yourself in a low state, and the trick is to learn to recognize when you’re there and consciously do what you need to do to shift out of it. She mentions taking time, maybe rest, or doing internal work like journaling. Whatever it takes to FEEL—in your body—your centered, joyful, energetic equilibrium. She speaks of it as an energetic high. I think of it as really just our natural equilibrium, because this is really the natural state. Kids embody it naturally, and so can we. It’s not something we need to work *up* to constantly to maintain; because if we include the work of reprogramming negative messages within, we will be naturally making choices that feel good inside. It all gets much easier without the weight of negative messages bogging is down. We can learn to bring compassion to the parts of ourself that are in need of empathy and reassurance, withiut letting those scared parts steer the ship. We can learn to question and move past the “Have To’s” and “Shoulds,” and give ourselves permission to enjoy our lives.
Journaling etc. can give us a chance to check in with the fearful part that needs empathy, so it is no longer in charge. Getting an external validation of our goodness and worth is also important. Coaches can to this for us. We all need someone in our life to see us in our glory, to believe in is, because most if us didn’t have this growing up, and it’s an important piece! We are programmed socially, and the reprogramming is also a social process; part of the work is to find the support we need and deserve.
I know Rachel Jayne has numerous practices for centering. From the material I’ve seen, I’m thinking of one exercise she did, which I love.
~in her “awaken your stage” material, she has you introduce yourself and say what you do, as if in a networking situation. Do it to a camera. Do it twice, first from your “thought bubble,” up in your head space. *Then* “dropping down into your center,” (she refers to the physical center of the body, a few inches below the navel, and a few inches back) you feel yourself operating from * here* and do it again and see how it feels. Watch the video and you will really see the difference! And you will immediately get why she always says it’s less important what you say, and more about being embodied and present. It really does read more powerfully and impressively when we are centered.
This is a great exercise and example of one of many practices to notice and practice the difference between being off center or truly centered. Meditation is great, yoga is great, going for a walk is great… These are some of the many things we can do to return to center, and it is important to find some that work for you and commit to doing something every day as a baseline for your own wellness. Whatever it is, it should give you the undeniable sense that you are in touch with yourself. From there, the challenges will be easier to face.
Still, fears will always come when we are engaging with life and ultimately we need practices to help us return to center *during* that engagement.
I believe Rachel Jayne would agree when I note that there are two distinct layers to the work. One is to be able to align with yourself and hear your own higher calling, that inner voice, which can be very quiet and hard to hear, and to come to fully align with it and know it as You. To come to feel this connection with Self as Home. Another is to be able to maintain that alignment in the face of fear or internal resistance. Fear will come up, it just will, whether it comes up during interactions with other people, or simply as you move closer toward manifesting your goals and playing bigger in the world.
So there are a lot of layers to unpack, and it’s a fallacy to think we should be able to Just Do It. Support to move past the fear (which WILL steer the ship until we really learn to come back to our center) is necessary throughout the process. and one if the hardest pieces to get for Americans like me who are programmed to believe in a solo superhero who, somehow through their lonely isolation, manages to save the world. It’s just not how it works! (And thank goodness!)
Great message – especially for those who are getting familiar with Law of Attraction. My husband and I always discuss about the fine balance of when you require action and when you allow Universe to flow. Passively waiting will not throw things into your lap and aggressively pushing may be counterproductive. The embodiment allows us to recognize when we are in our potential energy – when we are at that state, we will be open and ready to act when Universe provides the opportunity.
Rachael Jayne! This is so important – and not easy to master. Thanks so much for sharing.
Yes!!! Love it!!! Also now I’m planning my cycle out because I know I have a few days slump so I’m trying to plan for ‘pushing the puppy’ lol in the 2 weeks after my period. They’re my best days for sure. Thanks Rachel 😍
Thanks Rachael Jayne. Such an important distinction. Humans are complex adaptive systems, there is no single answer or way. And as the song says, “There’s a time for every purpose.”
Thanks so much this is such brilliant information and I love the analogy of the trains…reminds me of “If Not Now when? fits perfectly for me…Hugs and have the best and most prosperous trip….Hugs wallis
Thank you, RachelJayne. Great advice. when you embody the dream you have your vibrations are “up” and you’re ready to move – “hustle”. And when the discontent or longing show up, then is the time to “notice what I’m noticing” and push the pause button…chill and regroup until the good vibrations return your energy and being to your embodying the dream.
Very good sharing, And Congrats on your new place ! I just have been revisiting an old favorite book called “Excuse Me Your Life Is Waiting ” by Lynn Grabhorn. She talks about the feeling frequency process. Very similar to what you said. It syncs well with it.
Brilliant!
Well said Rachel, I agree. This is certainly my experience as well!
Yes, I am really feeling this message! The art of knowing when to give the ‘train’ some muscle vs. knowing when to give it some slack, and that we require both positions for success – this is very supportive for me right now. As I’ve been recognizing more easily when I’m on the resistance train, and enjoying more time on the joy train, my desires are happening!! Hearing you speak on the importance of 1) being present and in flow state, and then 2) recognizing when to hustle n’ give it an extra push, inspires to me take more intentional action steps toward the next desires I’ll meet ahead…. and then slack it up when I’m on the downward slope, to enjoy the ride a little more. Toot, toot! 🙂
What a great perspective! I have been learning about exactly this in many areas of my life, and to hear you describe it this way rings very true. Start with raising your joy and presence! Very helpful; thank you!
Thank you for this… EXCELLENT analogy!
Well stated!
The reminder to STOP (for a few hours, not a few years) and take care of myself so my efforts are with the Joy train…yes. Thank you. xx
Great post, very clarifying. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Timing for me is perfect, definitely needed this information right nog.

What resonated with me is that you have to be in a good emotional state. If you have blockages towards certain things like money or communication or procrastination etc then you are going to be pushing the train uphill. It is important to be in a good emotional and mental state so that you can expand your energetic field and then hustle your ass off! It will be a lot easier because people will be attracted to your expanded energetic field and flow towards you!
so well said! thanks for your clarity!
I find that ideas and “next steps” come to me much more easily when I am in a high energetic state, so pushing that joy train is much easier, too. When you’re in a low state, everything just seems so overwhelming that it’s easier to let it all lie there while you take a nap. LOL
