I resist networking. I’m an introvert, and I cringe at the thought of having to smooze to get clients or make friends.
Can you relate?
I’m in a “Catch 22” situation because networking is a necessary part of building a business and increasing our friendship circle of positive “like-minded” people.
This week I’m sharing my 5-step strategy to network effectively because it has helped me get past my resistance to getting myself “out there.”
They are simple steps that anyone can do, but many people get these wrong. While you are watching the video, check off which ones you are consistently doing and which you need more attention on.
Almost all of our clients who are working with us to build a 6 and 7 figure business also resist networking. I find that interesting. They are good at what they do, they are on a spiritual path, and they want to feel congruent with who they are in their marketing. Does that sound familiar? You are not alone.
Before you head off, I’d love you to share below what is your biggest fear or resistance to networking. Also, if you have any tips that have worked for you in coming out of your shell with networking, let us know what they are.
Much love,
P.S. If you are looking for support to build or increase the income in your business, Datta and I have helped over one hundred service-based businesses get the marketing, sales, and leadership training they need to hit their income goals – and do it in a way that fits their values. We’d love to chat and see how we can support you with a lot more than networking strategies. Just send us an email at support@grooverseminars.com and we’ll set up a time to talk.
This is so helpful! Thanks, RJ.
RJ, Another great video. Good tips. Thanks
Dear Rachael,
I really liked your video! Thanks for the recommendations!
My biggest problem is the feeling of getting torn between real activities, having friends and contacts in real life and doing the same on the internet in networking platforms.
It just feels as if there isn’t enough time for both. 😉
All the best!
Antonia
I love the way you put helpful strategies in easy to follow, memorable steps for us. Keep them coming Rachael Jayne!
Thanks Laurel, and everyone else here for sharing your gratitude and thoughts. Big hugs all around.
This was so helpful Rachel. Thank you for all of the great information and your perspective. I really like your emphasis on the importance of building friendships out of networking.
Thank you so much Rachel!
You made it all 5 steps easier.
Thank you. I like your weekly TV show the best of all because you are congruent. I think the same way and find it hard to cold call and get friendly with a group just so I can make sales. I am listening to the advice of two male high achievers on the internet and they both say look for a Profitable niche and make a product for them. They may be right, but if they are then I find that advice really depressing to accept. I teach people how to speak universal, a telepathic language which works with all species and humans if we allow. I would so much like this to succeed and get out there. Thank you again for giving me hope that we can succeed without having to chase a mass consciousness market.
Hi Victoria, No you don’t have to chase the mass consciousness market, but you have to be very clear on the problems that your “language” solves for people and talk less about your process and more about your clients problems and urgent wants. Who has the problems that your “language” solves? That will be an important question to always ask.
Rachael Jayne, what a great video and inspiration. You are so congruent and really walk your talk. That is the best example. I love it. I continue to learn from you for over three years now. You are amazing. Love and blessings for you.
Aw….thanks so much Wilka. Really looking forward to seeing you again this year. Hope you’ll be home when we come to The Netherlands in June.
My greatest fear is that I won’t be able to effectively communicate what I I offer. That my enthusiasm for my gifts don’t come through.
