In this week’s video, things get personal.
I’m showing you another side of me. While looking a little disheveled and adorning a full body lycra suit (let your imagination run wild) I wanted to inspire you with a simple message from the Great Barrier Reef.
At the very least you’ll have a chuckle at this short video Datta and I made for you while we explored Tropical Queensland in Australia.
Post a comment below the video to share what is on your bucket list or how you can get out of your natural habitat a little more.
Much love,
P.S. The photography and video are by Datta Groover and the team at Poseidon.
Great video, great soundtrack, great message!! Thanks Rachael Jayne & Datta!
RJ, You will laugh at this story. When I first escaped the US, on a personal journey to anywhere else, I landed in Queensland, found a hostel and then went off to adventure. I signed up for a trip to the Great Barrier Reef without knowing what that was. I had never snorkeled before and didn’t want to leave the boat. They insisted…it was a crazy day. I’m sure they did not know what to make of me. I had never heard of a “reef” apart from what I knew of lakes and shallows…simple girl from Alaska. It turned out to be a great adventure!
Love, love, love it!! Thanks for sharing your adventure!xoxo
Rachel Jayne – So excited to see that Datta and you had a fabulous time on this trip! My husband and I took a snorkeling tour from Port Douglas out to 3 spots on the Great Barrier reef in Oct 2015 – an incredible experience. Loved the town of Port Douglas, the area around there in Queensland and all of the wonderful people we met along the way. I too feel so grateful that we were able to do this trip – very special celebration of my husbands’ retirement! Big Hugs to you both!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Love this video RJ and Datta! Adventure!!!
Love Ranger Amy xxx
Great reminder to be out of comfort zone and to have fun!! Thanks for sharing a piece of the world. for the inspiration and cool music
Awesome xxx
Love it and love you both ❤️❤️❤️
Love the colors of the fish! What a great adventure!
Definitely on the wave length this summer. I’ve had amazing experiences traveling, crossed off things I didn’t even realize were on my bucket list, relaxed and definitely been out of my comfort zone at times!
I feel renewed, super grateful for this sacred adventure and ready to move forward when I return to the US.
Great adventure. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Maybe this is a little thing but for me it is big: dying my hair in bright red! I got all the ingredients, now only the work to do and … I am out of my comfort zone!
Thank you for sharing this personal moment!
One of my main goals has been to do things I do not feel safe doing. Not as exciting as what you did. For me it has been things such as driving a bumper go kart, taking mini trips with or with out friends . Reaching out to places to present my presentations.
Loved the pink noodle that you were using. LOL Looks like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like fun and you are brave. Thank you for sharing
Looks like you had a fun time. I will be following in your footsteps in October. I’m not much for water either so snorkelling in deep water is quite a big stretch for me.
Such a gift to share in your adventures! Grateful for reminder to get out of comfort zone to have fun!
So very proud of you two💜
Hi Rachael-Jayne
So pleased to see you were able to make it up to Tropical Far North Queensland. Cairns is my home town and a Sunday drive to Port Douglas to visit markets, walk along the beach and sit at one of the many vibrant cafes for lunch makes for a great day out. Then a wander around the shops before heading back to Cairns along one of Australia’s most spectacular and scenic drives. Cairns is absolutely glorious at this time of year. Finally we are having some cooler winter weather – down to 17c overnight. Yay. 🙂 🙂 Love watching all the Awaken TV clips and hear what you and Datta have been achieving.
Anita.
