I find this interesting.
When I look back at the major turning points and huge manifestations in my life, they each came after a moment of surrender.
Surrender does not mean giving up. Nor does it mean non-action. In those moments, I chose to surrender decisions over to a greater power than my strategic mind. Surrender brings peace, it brings flow, and it’s a powerful creative state.
We all get freaked out, stressed, or worried about something. What has been causing concern or full-blown anxiety for you lately?
One thing that has helped me surrender is a simple statement. I want to share it with you in this week’s Awaken TV episode and apply it to the thing that has been stressing you.
Push everything aside for just a few minutes, click ‘play’ on the video, and say the statement with me.
Notice how you start to feel. Each time you say it your body should start to relax, no matter how stressed you are.
This week’s practice is to create your surrender statement. This is a statement that can drop you into your power center, you can feel more relaxed, and you can feel “an energy” above and below you that is supporting and guiding you to your destiny.
What is your surrender statement? I’d love to hear it.
Much love,

What a wonderful piece of advice Rachael! I truly believe it is surrendering how we keep on growing and enjoying this amazing adventure of Being 🙂 Thank you for your great videos and continuous encouragement. Warm regards, Mónica
You’re very welcome, Monica. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
RJ, I love how succinct, simple yet powerful your surrender ritual is.
My process has a bit more of the dramatic flair to it. I lie prostate on my floor
and bemoan that my way is not working. I need help now–or something like that.
I admit, not real classy but it gets me out of the way and back into my body and Voila–change
You saved my life
This advice is very simple and easy to do, Manon. Keep practicing and you will find yourself being able to get through all of life’s tricky obstacles.
Thank you Rachael Jayne,
I don’t have a surrender statement yet so will try using yours. I freak out over relationships. I think I was very insecurely attached as a child and so at the merest possibility of being emotionally close to a man as an adult I rather go to pieces – at least I am starting to be able to recognise it! so your video was helpful.
I’m happy to hear it was helpful to you, Candy!
I do know what you mean I usually try to think this way but I don´t have any surrender statement so no I understand why I should have one. Thank you Rachel jayne 🙂
You’re welcome, Anna. I hope it helps.
I have so many choices right now involving other people too and I’ve been so stressed out about how to do the right thing for everybody involved and your statement was great and came just in the right time! Thank you so much Rachel! I’ll use it definitely. I might say I accept whatever You decide and I wish for easily understood guidance to follow through.
Hi Anne, thanks for the positive words of encouragement. Let me know how it works for you.
I just love this and the power of your surrender statement. I have said one similar for years also, but it has been missing the “I will follow through” component. Thank you for this! Now I feel the essential complete circuit with heaven and earth!
Good for you, Sage!
My surrender statement has been “all will be well, and all will be well, and all will be exceedingly well” but I like yours. Much easier and I love the piece “and I will follow through”. That piece has always been my struggle and it’s a nice commitment to make to myself and my higher power.
Commitment to your statement is absolutely necessary in order to see change, and it’s so good you’ve been practicing this, Dianne!
hi my statement which is permanently in me, ” i live the present moment, in absolute trust”
before i was using only “i am in absolute trust” but soon i felt there was something missing, and i found that when we are not “aligned”, thus worriying, thinking too much, doubting and thus feeling “unright” emotions like fear anger whatever … it is because we are either in the past, or in the future…
and as soon as we bring our total mind, total awareness in the PRESENT moment, as soon as we unite body mind in the present, than all worries and unnessary thought dissolve … maybe because we are also IN spirit …
it is very powerful, but may need little training in awareness, mindfulness ….
Hi Isabelle, it sounds like you’re definitely on the right track. Keep up the good work!
Great post, I love your Surrender Statement. Mine goes something like, ‘connected to heaven + earth, I allow my heart + intuition to guide me’. And now I will be adding ‘and I will follow through’. Thanks for the inspiration!
You’re very welcome, Vanessa!
Fantastic session with you Rachael. Thank you.
I really worry too much; I freak out; I stressed my weak heart and my sad spirit.
These are my weaknesses.
I truly love others in obedience to HIM.
Now, my “Surrender Statements”?
Let Go! Let God. Smile Amparo, God loves you.
Those sound fantastic, Amparo. It’s nice to hear you’ve developed your own surrender statements that work for you.
Thank you Rachael for your surrender statement, lovely. This is one I say every day as soon as I get into my car or whenever I am freaked out, which is quite regular these days, it always helps me.
The light of God surrounds me
The power of God unfolds me,
The love of God flows through me.
Wherever I am God is and all is well
I am divinely protected by the light of my being
I close of my aura and body of light to all but my own God self
Thank you God and so it is.
What a wonderful statement, Marie. 🙂
Hi there Rachael Jayne – I love that surrender is non-action. I have said my surrender statement almost everry day for the last 30 years : ” I open my heart to the sky above me , I open my heart to the earth below me, I open my heart to the world around me.” ( the best felt when out in nature)
I have missed the guidance and protection part so that feels good to add that as well.
30 years is quite a commitment, Swanica, and I’m glad to hear you’ve been able to stick with what works for you.
Dear Rachael Jayne, thank you so much for all these free videos and for everything you give! !!!Your ‘statement’ is great so I am using it with a few additions: “Please Hashem, guide me, help me, protect me, and I will follow through. Thank you!!!” (Hashem is the word we use instead of G*d’s Name in Judaism). For me it is also very important to ask for Hashem’s help. Where would we be without that help? Love and success, Navah.
You’re very welcome, Navah, and thank you for the kind words. I’m happy to hear this video encouraged you to add your own creative suggestions to the surrender statement.
Thanks so much Rachael Jayne,
I can usually work through my worry and stress, but love the idea of a surrender statement; yours works well for me and my body, I love its brevity and its application to everything; nothing more needed.
I love the ….and I will follow through.
Definitely has been missing for me, think it may help with ADHD too.
much love
Rosie
