Hi Rachael, I struggled with this video a bit to be honest because I thought “thought” was were it all started? Change your thoughts, change your beliefs, life etc am I missing something? No rush but would love an explanation.
I’m studying counselling at the minute and quite excited about that AND……………..bought a grand piano for the lounge TODAY to have musical soirees darling!!

Yes, you are right. If you change your thoughts and beliefs you change your life. The question then is, how is the quickest and most effective ways to change your thoughts. Talk therapy is one way, writing out new beliefs and self discovery are all ways. Embodiment and mastering your physiology is another way. It’s not that we want to stop therapy, counselling, coaching etc, but if it only stays in the head and the body never really believes what the head is saying, then changing your life won’t happen, or at least it won’t happen as fast.
For example on a really basic level. You are not feeling good because you just got disappointing news and that triggers you into thinking “it always happens like this to me, this is too hard.” You could work on your positive beliefs, you could have a talk with your coach, OR you could make your face smile, you could take some deep breaths into your heart, feel your womb space, and within seconds feel better and authentically feel “everything is perfect and okay”

thank you for your comment. I think we’ll have to agree to disagree. The pedantic side of me is just thinking…if you’ve just had some disappointing news, then you decide to smile but you do that BECAUSE that’s what you’ve chosen to do with a thought isn’t it? I’m going to smile because I want to feel better”.
I definitely agree that that will work. We can’t be angry and smile at the same time etc
