After 3 weeks in Japan, I am feeling inspired and blessed.
We’ve had fun sharing our photos on Facebook and learning some great lessons from a culture that takes ‘practice’ and ‘mastery’ seriously.
One lesson from this culture particularly hit me during a Japanese tea ceremony that we attended. I invite you to watch this week’s episode to hear about that.
Also see the opening moments of our Art of Feminine Presence Teacher Training Level 2 event with me speaking Japanese. It surprised the women there a lot. I’m kinda proud of myself. ☺
I’d love to hear what you are committed to practicing and mastering. I’d also love to know if you’ve ever experienced the Japanese culture and what you are inspired by there.

Finally… Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends.

Thanks Rachael Jayne and well done on your Japanese speaking – omedeto gozaimasu! I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Japan so appreciate what you spoke about.
Recently I did some teaching of Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion techniques to other acupuncturists with 2 of my colleagues and although it went really well I was a bit disappointed with myself because I spent a lot of time making sure everything was organised and perfect, and maybe not enough time practising what I was teaching and I felt that I maybe didn’t shine as much as I could have, so I really resonated with your comments. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing Catherine 🙂 I’m glad it resonated!
Hi…What a treat to have a whole country of women who understand the growth from deep daily practice. Yes, we are distracted by many things here in the US. I am even torn myself as an AFP teacher. These practices have been extremely important for me and though I wish I had them 50 years ago, I feel very blessed to be integrating them now!
It was quite the treat 🙂 I think it will be awesome to see how we can now take these practices back into the states!
