As people plan for the New Year, it’s interesting to see where their focus goes.
For many of us, the “how much money do I want to make?” question arises. Whether you have your own business that you want to grow in 2015, or whether you want to prove you are worth a raise to your boss, there is a good chance you are hoping and planning for an increase in your income.
There is a very important quality that you must develop if you want to see a quantum leap in your income in 2015.
That quality is creativity. Creativity and innovation hugely influence how valuable you are to your clients or your boss.
Take a moment during this time of visioning and planning to watch this video on how to increase your creativity overnight and make a quantum leap.
In this week’s Awaken TV, I take you on a tour of one of the most creative cities in the world to inspire you. It’s my home town and I am very proud to be from here.
Don’t get stuck in your left brain thinking that’s where all the answers are.
Watch the short video today, and post your commitment below to what will increase your creativity.
Much love,
P.S. My sister Amy’s art (that I mention in the video) can be seen at http://AmyKennedyCeramics.com. She inspires me with her dedication to creativity and innovation.
RJ and Datta,
I love this video
Actually, I love all your videos.
I find them highly inspiring.
Have a great trip and be safe!
XO Laurel
Thanks for saying so Laurel. We appreciate that.
I am working on combining music with my presentations and my clairvoyance in my work.
Great idea Ken! Thanks for sharing. This will be great for you.
How fun to see you in your hometown! Thanks for the reminder about creativity. I was at a conference in the Bay area last month about Empathy and Compassion in Society. There are many cities around the world participating in bringing compassion into main stream and into the business environment. Speaking of an unusual pairing, but one I personally hope will continue to expand.
thanks Rachael Jayne
Lora
A very much needed pairing. Thanks for sharing Lora.
Love this video Rachael Jayne! I TOTALLY agree – art and creativity, poetry, dance, performance – anything creative always inspire me as they speak to the spirit. This is a great reminder – Thank you
Thanks Janet! I loved shooting it. Very proud to be a Melbournian
My left brain works more than perfectly!! I also have an absolute perfect intuitive side, however my creative side is soooo dormant.
And YES, I surely do not like to go to museums, don’t read anything about history and don’t like art. Sooo, I guess I have homework to do starting right now!
Thanks Rachael!
I especially loved this video. No surprise there! 🙂 Bravo to you for all you’re doing! xoxo
Thanks Sandra. Of course you would. You are a shining example of this darling. THANKS so much for the gift. I am so proud of you for your work with Carolyn Myss.
I liked this video and was surprised by the suggestion. And I thought that was one quality of a great video tip! Then I realized that I had done just this with a job this week. I did some leadership development work in the San Fernando Valley in Colorado and tied in performing Handel’s Messiah. I shared with them that I had just been singing “Every Valley Shall Be Exalted” and thought it was mystic to be working with people who serve this valley community– at Christmastime! One of the participants chimed in that it was her perspectie that, in spite of the challenges and increasing complexity in their work, she always feel like they are in the valley and climbing the mountain. It doesn’t have to be daunting or discouraging– she finds it inspiring. It was one of those moments like you were describing, Rachael Jayne, when that shift in perspective adds value to the work!
I just saw the Nutcracker in Toronto last night!! Could not agree more with creativity and inspiration through theatre! I also reflected on personal costume as well. What we wear and how we wear it, the colours, combinations, cuts, fabrics, etc. Ones personal style of dressing can be such an avenue for creativity, so I find myself exploring creativity through personal style.
Great video! Thank you 🙂
Thank you for your inspiring video! Most recently I have been thinking about this theme of incorporating two or three different creative forms together. As I am a musician and an artist (and a photographer as a hobby), I decided for the first time to combine all three together in my new release which includes my album (which is a coffee table book with beautiful photos of the ocean – some of which I took) with the CD disc at the back which comes with a small acrylic painting made into a card (with a gold envelope and sealed with gold wax seal) for the deluxe version! I had such fun creating it and putting it all together. Here are some photos: http://www.elikamahony.com/2014/11/12/deluxe-package-infinite-bounty-cdbook-original-art-card/
Thank you ~ I love to get out into nature for my inspiration and earlier this year I felt guided to include Meditation in Reiki sessions for clients, it is proving very powerful and beneficial for them.
Wishing you both a Wonderful Christams filled with moments to treasure
Love, Peace & Light Sweet Souls
Sara
Love to see you so inspired by being in your home town! Can feel that <3
I just went to our local museum to see a temporary exhibition of (concept) art work for the virtual world (game industry etc). With my 15 year old son who knew every game, engine and almost all names mentioned! And took pictures of teh art he liked. Thát visit with my son was the biggest gift, but thanks to your video I will puzzle and sit with the question how I can integrate art into my work.
Game art is in itself a very good example of how they integrated 'old' art, gotand get inspiration from other form of art (though I can imagine people saying that this game art is not Art with a capital A…)
Thanks, till next time!
