Which ‘runs’ you more often?
The Fear of Failure or the Fear of Success?
For me, it’s always been the fear of success.
When we polled our audiences, the overwhelming response is around the fear of success.
The ‘Fear of Success’ dynamic is slippery, as it easily becomes one big excuse to avoid growing and moving forward. It keeps procrastination firmly in place. Can you relate to that?
This week’s Awaken TV practice will help you with the ‘Fear of Success.’ This practice has helped me so much. It has helped me to notice my excuse, and instead of halting things, it has moved me forward into my ‘success’ faster.

The way you address these issues is really helping me understand on an intellectual level my anxiety and how to dispel it. What a blessing! Thank you
You’re welcome, Anita. I’m glad to hear these practices are helping!
Hi Rachael Jayne,
I happen to be in the middle of a job application procedure for an important promotion at my work so this video is JUST a the right time! I am afraid I will not be able to handle the stress and the workload and will become exhausted after a few months or years. So I commit to doing your wonderful exercise very often the coming days and keep it in mind if I get the job!
Love and thanks!
So good to hear, Navah! I wish you good luck on your journey to a better job.
.
I live in the here and now but I do fear future bad publicity
Hi Ruth,
Yes, it’s a concern that a lot of us have, and it can certainly take us out of the here and now if we let it. Good on your for working to stay present!
Hi, Rachel.
Thank you for you insight. I did not realize it until I listened to your video that I have a fear of people wanting too much from me and I fear I will not know how to set boundaries. In the past when I had a successful painting business I used my success in a way to buy love and acceptance from others. I am afraid of being that person again.
Stacy, it’s good that you have that fear in your mind going forward, because you now know who you don’t want to be and seem to have learned from a past experience. We can always grow to be someone else, someone better than we were before.
Hi Rachael.
and again thank you for giving us the possibility to reflect on a huge issue.
At the moment my fear is that when I’m finally riding the wave of success – and loving it – I’m gonna loose my freedom to be conducted by my own natural and cyclic rhythm.
It has an other fear written inside of it: my creative rhythm or cycle is slow – will it be too slow to be able to answer to all the demands and wishes of an successful life and business? Will I loose, will my business loose something important for my slow-ness?
Bringing all that into my PelvicBowl I realized that is the only way to be successful for me – otherwise I’d loose some truly important information and insights and would not resonate with my purpose.
Fear is a big part of what we do or don’t do in life, and often times we let it hold us back from pursuing our true passions. Connecting with your womb space for the answer is a great idea, and I wish you many successes.
Fear of making the wrong choice/decision and stopping the success I have from growing.
Hi Rachael
I thoroughly enjoy watching all the Awaken TV with yourself and Data. Your thoughts/query – which do we fear the most – Success or Failure? I fear failure. I design and make home décor and to put aside a passion along with all my stock would be awful.
To become more engaging amongst and around people – be vibrant! Achieved by good diet and exercise – works wonders around people You look and feel great and people subconsciously react to this and love to engage with you. It has a great flow on effect in all areas of your life. I love watching Awaken TV as you and Data are cheerful and vibrant. Hope to meet with you both someday.
A question – what to do when the retail sector falls into a bit of lull? People are careful with spending at the craft markets and think hard about purchasing.
Look forward to hearing from you both.
cheers, Anita.
