This week we were in Canada where we gave an Art of Feminine Presence Intensive and an AFP teacher training.
Our Japanese, Australian, and New Zealand tour is just around the corner.
Datta and I are blessed to be able to take our work on the road and impact far more people than we did a few years ago.
A question we get asked a lot is, “How do you create and set up these events in other countries and have people actually attend?”
In this week’s Awaken TV episode, I share the first 5 things you need to consider — and commit to — if you want to do your workshops, events, healing sessions, art exhibitions, etc, in other cities and possibly other countries.
The pleasures and rewards are enormous when you get to travel and work at the same time. It’s definitely something to aspire to and work towards if you feel called.
Here’s how to get started:
Let us know below if you have any questions about how we do this.
We want to see you succeed, as it’s not something that you can just pull together willy-nilly and expect people to show up.
Of course, if you are truly serious about expanding your work and making a much bigger impact and creating wealth doing what you love, consider joining the highly committed group of conscious entrepreneurs in Business Leadership Mastery.
It takes full commitment if your impact is going to become reality, and not just stay a dream.
Much love,
Rachel, a woman from Arkansas who claims to have a big presence in the area wants me to come for an event next year as an Astrology/Numerology expert and give some basic classes. She has already been telling her market that in order to do real deep personal growth, they need an Astrology/Numerology session. When I said it would need to be financially secure, she reminded me that she battles with a poverty consciousness in Arkansas. Where do I start?
Hi Rebekkah,
You could start with getting a webpage up for registrations and telling her that once she has a certain amount register with at least a deposit, then you will come. That’s what I did the first time to the Netherlands. I said I need 8 full paying people fully paid before I get my ticket. Get her all the marketing materials as early as possible and see how she goes. Once she hits a number, then book your flight.
Love RJ
Do you only go to countries who understand English or do you speak the languages where you hold seminars please?
Hi Ruth,
We are doing our first fully translated seminar in Japan in a few weeks. That will be the first. When we do them in Europe, we speak slower and clearer as their first language usually isn’t English, but most speak quite good English.
I love you Rachael Jayne! Great job!
Funny how timely this video is … I am a yoga teacher and plan on traveling to Europe for a few weeks or longer, and just yesterday contacted a studio owner about teaching workshops, etc. I will follow your advice and prepare more marketing material in the target language for when I need it and in order to contact more studios.
I do wonder, however, about how to handle insurance, payment and taxes in the foreign locations, as I will just be traveling through and not local. It’s hard to find any information on that on the internet, or generally someone who has answers for that.
It is hard to get straight answers. You will need your own event insurance if the hotel doesn’t cover you with their event insurance, so ask the hotel or venue you are doing the work in how it works there. Taxes are something that you’ll have to contact the country for. We take all payments through our own merchant account in US dollars. You could do it through paypal or you would take cash there. Best wishes!
Thanks for the additional thoughts, especially the paypal payment option. Sometimes we have everything set up and in place without knowing it 🙂
Great advice as usual! Thanks Rachael Jayne. I love these weekly episodes, very inspiring
Thanks Lora! I’m enjoying doing them.
Thanks for sharing these gems Rachael Jayne. Looking forward to hosting you in GEELONG Australia soon!!!!
Can’t wait! Bare Minerals in hand 🙂
Great video, Rachel Jayne! Really helpful. Thanks for being there, being you and doing this wonderful inspirational work! My heart is open, feeling love. <3
Perfect timing! I’m in the very early stages of planning a trip with a friend to South of France to pitch some upmarket spas/retreats for my coaching/holistic coaching – such valuable information, thank you.
If anyone reading watching Rachael Jayne’s video and reading this post believes in the idea of coaching in spas where I know people go to get a break from their lives, which I believe has real room for reflection and there is a potential need for support and sounding board through that process before they’re thrown back into the buzz and pace of their regular lives, do please get in touch! I’m based in the UK and am willing and able to travel EVERYWHERE!
Similarly if you know anyone with spa links please do connect us!
Love your timing, Rachael Jayne. I am in the planning phase for a trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil. I’ve got my champion and really appreciate this advice.
Oh good, thank you, Kate. I’m so happy to hear that the timing is great for you on this one! Keep us posted on how it goes!
Happy to hear the timing is well for you too, Jacqueline! Happy and successful travels to you.
I noticed in your intro that you will be in New Zealand. Do you have the dates for that event and what city?

Thank you for sharing these amazing tips, Rachael Jayne!
One question that I’m sure will be interesting for a lot of women: How do you stay balanced, healthy and calm while on the road?
Warm wishes,
Elsa xx
